Research programme: Trials

In this programme we aim at discovering effective ways to treat CRPS. This concerns the potential efficacy of drugs, but also spinal cord stimulation in the treatment of chronic CRPS patients. This research programme can offer an important contribution to a better understanding of CRPS. Within TREND we conduct research in small patient groups to find out if certain physical aspects that are supposed to be related to CRPS, actually do have an influence. Standardisation of trials will enhance comparability of the results.
