TREND
TREND (Trauma RElated Neuronal Dysfunction) is a Dutch knowledge consortium that integrates research on Complex Regional Pain Syndrome type 1. TREND is a collaborative effort of academic medical centers, universities and industry to develop concepts on disease mechanisms that occur in response to tissue injury, its assessment and treatment. TREND is supported by a government grant and started in 2004 (BSIK03016).
Final report
In the meantime the final report of TREND has been completed. This report describes the progress and outcomes of the 8-year granting period, i.e. 2004 till 2011. On October the 7th the report will be discussed with the “Commissie van Wijzen”.
